All of the entry level jobs usually filled by students are now being filled by adults attempting to suppliment their incomes.
I personally am living in a complex in which I am aware of a couple of my neighbors recently losing their jobs. I know technically this is not my problem, but as a friend and someone in which has already have been there. I know from my personal experiences that it is not fun.
When I can finally get my business services up and going, I know I will be able to create a number of new jobs. Most of these will be filled by many of these individuals in which have recently been let go.
Yes I can look at this as though it is very flattering, but I just want to be able to help out. I do not know what is stopping it from being in the position to get it off of the ground.

Getting my services up and going

As the founder of the Reporting-Ethics Republican Blog and the Web site and other services based on http://www.reporting-ethics.com/, I do not understand why it is not up and going?
Thanks to all of the work I have done, I know I will be creating from 60 t0 70 new jobs. This is at a time in which we all are in a recessionary times. At a time in which the foreclosure rates are skyrocketing. Forcing many to result doing the unthinkable and tapping in on their 401k and/or other retirements.
By creating all of these new opertunities there will be so many people who will be gaining from my long hours and efforts. Why then am I not allowed to get things going? This is something in whch baffles my mind.
I understand it is now the Friday the 13th and I am busy listening to Rush Limbaugh, but why am I not allowed to being able get these jobs on the market. This is at a time when the citizens of this great city of Portland are hurting for ways not to fall short on their mortgage bills and beefing up on their retirements.
If I was allowed to be able to finally get my services up and going then I would be able to employ some of these hurting people. I would probably only be able to make a little dent in the current situation. But any little help would do the trick.
Only by helping on young family from not having to file bankruptcy or falling short of making their mortgage payment, then this would be a success. In the process being able to assist the other individuals from going into worse times.
This also includes the baristas that work at the local Starbucks I frequent. Assisting these young 20 somethings to be able to pay their way through college. And to avoid all of those nasty expenses I have to make. Some of these include alimoni, child support, and etc. The list goes on.

Ding dong Broom Hillary is no more

The thought of Hillary Clinton or even her husband serving four years is a very scary.

Now the next step is getting McCain a competent VP. It was something that happened in a response from a challenge to do so by the IRS. They wanted someone to take a free service in which the had been costing the federal government millions and turn it into a profitable venture.

This started out being a small dot com backed up with a radio show KTAX. But as our founder was working on this project there were a number of different spin offs that happened. At last count, there are now four different Web sites and five different businesses that has spon off of Reporting-Ethics.

When this finally does get the opportunity to finally get off of the ground, they are all going to be creating a number of new jobs. Something the we (the Reporting-Ethics Republicans) see as being very beneficial for our sagging economy.

The only thing that "we" can think of that is slowing down the process is that a couple of "powereful people" got into trouble for trying to out smart us. But of course this comes with the territory, I mean we are basically contracting or doing some contract work for the IRS and federal government.

When all the stars finally do all line up and Reporting-Ethics is given the go, there are going to be a number of individuals who will be wanting employment with it. But at first most of these individuals are probably going to be former G-Men or people. They have all of the needed experiences and education needed. If I would have a choice, it would not be wise to take them up on this offer.

My intensions

My intensions of creating all four of these Web sites and my other services were to just try and help out. The IRS originally challenged me to take a free service they performed for us taxpayers and turn it into a profitable venture. Once it is up and running, it should be able to employ a number of individuals. Hopefully in the process, I have not pissed too many people off. But then again no matter what you do in life, this is uaually very hard to avoid.

Now that I have done all of this work, made the appropriate budgets, and everything else necessary I want to continue. But I do not think that this is my decision to get this done even if I was trying to do it.

I am still going to do about anything possible to make it a success. I often have entered them just before having to go to work, on the spur of the moment and etc. I do it without giving myself enough time to edit my writings.
I just hope that based upon these facts, it does not make me look bad. For between my part time job, working on my Web sites and having fun, it does not give me the time to do the appropriate amount of editing of my own works.
A good example was the entry I made concerning putting a HQ Hotel in Portland. This is a plan that has been worked onn for some time, and us Reporting-Ethics Republicans were just putting in their two bits.
Thanks you for taking the time to read this and understanding.

Getting it started

Recently I was brainstorming on how I can finally get this project, Reporting-Ethics and other services, off of the ground faster. One conclusion I have arrived at was to get me fired or laid off on my current place of employment.
This is something in which I am not at all interested in doing. For I kind of like what I do, a conservative clerk @ Safeway. But I have been putting so much time on this project and I am more interested in finally getting it off of the ground.
If that would happen, then this would allow me to live off of my unemployment for a number of weeks. This would allow me a source of income until this gets off of the ground. If I would need another job to help pay my bills, then I would not have any problem getting another one during the up and coming Christmas season. The only problem would be they would usually end right after the holiday.
Then when these projects would be allowed to get off of the ground, I would be able to create jobs for so many positions. Many of the individuals it would employ would have been recently laid off at one of a number of different places of employment. Providing them with an additional way to build their nest egg, pay off mortgages, sending their kids to college, making those alimony payments and any other living expenses that need to be made.
By even publishing this entry, might be a mistake. For those federal people are reading my blog and might not approve. Even my employer and fellow employees might also be reading it and they might be mad at little (innocent!!!) ole Mason. when the "i" in my name stands for innocence!!!!
I have been spending all of my time and free time working on it to prefect it. Attempting to apply everything and any advise the "feds" have hinted to me to change it. For I want it to eventually do an awesome job once it is up and running.
I would like to even have some more time to do some more maintence work on my site and other services. For when they are all up and running, there will be a number of people whom will be gaining from my efforts. A lot more than would gain than having me continue to chase shopping carts in a local grocery store.
I am attempting to also respond to a number of friends and whatever whom have been recently laid off and due from the latest economic conditions. Most of which is a direct result of this sub prime lending, foreclosure ratings and other happenings. Making many of these individuals effected, coming up to me asking, "what is holding up the process? When are you going to start your hiring? All of the pieces are all in place. I ask this having bills to pay and my nest egg is running dry and I am being forced to move from my current residence."
All I am just want to do is help out. Thanks to all of this work I have been doing over these past years, I am in that position.
I usually have responded, "I want to help out, but my hands are tied. I do not know what is holding up the situation. I am doing everything has been suggested to me by them."
Based upon these facts, I can not think of any reason why my services are not up and running. Not only will many of these individuals situations effected by these recent down turns be improved. but also the city and metro area will gain from it. I just want to continue and help out the situation. In the process their will be so many people whom will be gaining from my efforts.
In my attempts to finally get this thing off of the ground, I am not at all interested in burning any more bridges. For if I would, then it would probably come back and kick me hard. But my intentions are still very good.

Our Guessimation

Our guesstimation on how big of move the Federal Reserve should be making in cutting the interest rate is a half point of one percentage point. We (the Reporting-Ethics Republicans) would make this move to hopefully jump start the mortgage industry and to help out the different financial and commodity markets. It will be the first of more to come.
In arriving at this conclusion, we are taking into consideration: the Mortgage market (foreclosure rates), Consumer psychology, Financial services/stock market and Commercial borrowers. All of these need to be taken into consideration when trying to take or tame the inflation rates.
We understand that this is quite a huge move. This is despite other armchair or coffee shop economists only calling for a quarter percent move. We trive living on the edge of it.
But we feel this amount needs to be made to jump start the economy. Something that has been hurt by the recent layoffs, sub prime mortgage problems and the conflict in the middle east. It will be the first of a number moves or drops the federal reserve will be making in the coming months.

It's the economy again

I have just gotten back from my morning cup of coffee. Today I read both the Portland Tribune and The Oregonian business sections with interest. Where a couple of reporters had written articles on how the economy is hurting again. Something that in my opinion is going to lead into another recession.
This was someting, even Mr. Greenpants, the guy whom headed the central bank system for 18-years, also agreed. This was something in which he did not admit, but I had to read between the lines. Something that he was well aware, but did not think it would have that big of an impact.
An example is poor Stockton CA. they have been named the foreclosure capital of the USA. A problem in which it effects 1 in 27 households. OUCH!!!! I just hope this prime lending situation does not effect Portland as bad.

There were other articles that we (the Reporting-Ethics Republicans) thought was very interesting. This one concerned the possibility of turning the Union Station in downtown Portland into a year round farmers market. This is something that would be very similar to the Pikes Peak Market up in Seattle.
But first there has to be a $40 + million dollar investment to get this accomplished. A figure in which would have to probably come from the private sector. For if I am correct and shortly after the Christmas season or new year we are headed into a recession. Then the city govern-ment will have no money to provide to this cause.
The same is the case for the HQ Hotel in near the Convention Center. The funds needed for this project will also have to be coming from the private sector.
But both of these projects definitely need to be happening. For the potential economic impact on our economy will be enormous. They alone would boost employment and increase tourism. Down the road, it would be very profitable for it to happen.

ANOUNCEMENT!!!!!!

I would like to thank my viewers for their contributions, (donations and/or subscriptions). For all my efforts will finally pay off and it will make a difference.
1) It will assist the federal or the IRS to do a job in which it can be done and make a profit. Then these profits will obviously be taxed.
2) It will be employing a number of people in a number of different areas. At what started out as just being a Web site and backed up with a radio show, has mushroomed into a number of other areas.
Right now it is just me doing most of it. Sure I do have another neighbor doing some editing work, but it is not much. But it has been very beneficial to what I am doing.
3) The economic impact at what I am working on should be enormous.
4) The only money I am making from this right now is via the donation and subscription button on each of the pages. I reallize this is not really that much, but it does add up after time. This is from spending all of thise time working on attempting to perfect this project I have been working on. In the process I guess I have made some people mad at me. But I can not please everyone.
Most of these was not my goal when I set out. But I guess this is called having to stand my ground and stop some of these people from getting the best of me. When it is something in which I have been spending all of this time and energy on, it is very important to me.
I will be doing my best to seeing to it that I am finally able to get it off of the ground. According to the papers, the layoffs are only increasing and the foreclosures are skyrocketing. The stocks markets are taking a huge rollercoster ride.
This is not pretty. We need to get it back to gether again. Sure "Gentle Ben" via the Federal Open Market Committee needs some assistance. But it is called too little too late.

The nice thing I can do to finally try and help out the situation is by finally being able to get my www.dot.com off of the ground. This would also include all of the other spin offs I have been working on. In the process, creating a number of new jobs. Ones in which I would think would be very much appreciated by those whom have been recently laid off or are in need of a place of employment.
When this does happen I think it would be very interesting. Just think of all the people whom would be able to gain from all of my efforts.
I would think this part would be very flattering. The article in particular was "Recycling whiz finds a circular way". I apologize to my viewers I could not find the link to the article online.
It covers how a Tom Badrick, Sustainability Coordinator at the Legacy Health System is in charge of motivating it's employees on recycling as much as they can and decrease the amount of garbage. This is something in which all large for profit and/or non-profits should be focused on. For we all need to be recycling as much as we can.
Everything that we throw in the garbage, ends up in the land fills. Most of the plastic and rubber packaging, never decomposes. For they are petroleum products and the best thing to do is just try and recycle these items.
On my current part-time job, I sometimes work in the bottle returns room. Despite all of the recyclable cans, glass and plastic bottles that come through, there are still a number that are needlessly thrown away. One's in which are probably going straight into a landfill.
But it is not profitable for my employer to do any additional work and/or focus on their attempts to expand their recycling program.
As sad as it is, most of these individuals or scrappers whom return those recyclables for cash, do not use the cash for anything positive. Some of these living expenses would include: rent, car insurance, alimony payments, college tuition and etc. Instead most of these funds are I assume consumed in one of many other ways.

This is all confusing to me??????

For the past several years I have been long working hours attempting to perfect the Web site and other services via http://www.reporting-ethics.com/. In the process, decreasing the size or our government and cutting away at all of the red tape.

RE: Don Imus vs Rutgers women

At Reporting-Ethics we do not think it is acceptable for the stunt radio host Don Imus pulled. For it is very unacceptable and should not be allowed to happen.

There is in Reporting-Ethics, an un written rule that an individual should be held responsible for their actions. This includes with an individual misusing their rights according to first constituational rights. But they still need to remain accountable and/or taken off of the airwaves.

After listening to several other radio talk shows covering this incident, sure the individuals involved should just realize there was a mistake made and move on. But if nothing is done for the individual, (Imus) then no body will learn from his mistake.

It is not only the Reporting-Ethics Republicans who think this way. On the Internet, I ran across the article, "MSNBC Drops Imus Simulcast Amid Furor". This is something in which should have been done years ago. The way they do it now is a total waste.

The plastic used is all a petroleum product and can not biologically break down. When instead it could be put to use for other good purposes. This is something that could be done to help out the economy and/or the environment. In the process doing something that would help out the situation and others would benefit.

Sure to make this change, it would initially cost the retailer a couple of more cents a bag. But as the use continues to increase so will this price will decrease. All of which will be governed by what the supply and demand issue will dictate.

The only disadvantage of using corn instead of plastic bags will be its impact on a number of future markets values. This will be an increase to the corn markets due to the use of ethenol has already sent the price of a bushel of corn through the roof. In the process increasing the cost of pork bellies, header cattle and etc. For these live crops all use corn as one of their primary choice of dinner.

For it is one good crop that all of those farmer Browns out there have at their disposal to feed their cattle and other live stock. Something that was at least inexpensive, very accessible and fattens them up for the days in the market. Now this has all changed.

RE: Hypbrid Sales

A goal of the Reporting-Ethics Republicans is to try and endorse what is good for the general public. A good example is the recent article "Hybrid sales zip into the fast lane" that appeared on the front page of The Sunday Oregonian.

According to the article, in the city of Portland the percentage of hybrid registered cars has spinked up. This is in part thanks to their fueling nature looks better and better as gas prices rise toward $3 a gallon. The consumers are responding by purchasing something in which will be getting a better mileage. For the know they will they have to pay more in the short term and get more for it.

This change of the economy has left more and more dealers to increase their inventories of the hybrids for lower prices becanse they can make up for it by selling more cars. Even encouraging the SUV loving car buyers are hungry for small, sporty cars. "Although hybrids still make up fewer than 1 percent of all passenger cars in Oregon, their numbers grew about 70 percent in the state last year."

We, at Reporting-Ethics endorse what this article covers. For initially the increase of price demanded for the purchase of one of these vehicles, will benefit from these efforts. Initially the consumers expenses and eventually benefiting the overall economy.

Senate Bill 707, March 30

I wish to use this entry to thank the 2007 Legislataure. Finally they, the Oregon Senate has come up with a good piece of legislature. This is one in which will expand the bottle bill for the first time since it was adopted in 1971. This was something in which is supported by 80 percent of the Oregon voters
From what I have read, it it will now be adding plastic water bottles as well as some aluminium cans.Sure it would add some additional headaches initially to the retailers and consumers, but this would eventually all pan out. For it will stop an estamated, according to the state Department of Environmental Quality, 125 million plastic bottles every year from turning into waste and litter.
The impact of this bill would immediately give the Dumpster Diver Index a spike. For the amount those "scrappers" can collect and cash in has increased. Allowing them to afford higher quality of shopping carts.

'08 Primaries

I have read in the paper today that many of the other nations are moving up their election primaries to Feb 5th. The latest was New York, in their attempts to help their two favorites Rudy and Hillary to get elected. This came after our friends down south, California, has done the same thing. So I figure we might as well do the same thing.

Sure it might end up costing the OR legislature $2.8 million to make the change, but we might as well do it. For if we want our 6 or 7 electoral votes to make a difference and/on impact, we might as well follow the herd.

Under normal circumstances, following the herd would prove to be the wrong thing to do. This is one of the few times that I would go along with the crowd. For it will benefit the Republican Party and our strong hold and/or getting more GOP "good ole boys" in different seats.

The recent anti-war protestors

In Today's news it was consisted by the other forms of media was the anti-war protests in downtown Portland, OR. This was something that basically also happened across the United States to celebrate the five year anniversary of the start of the Iraq War. Something that I felt was politically incorrect and a waste of time.

I read these articles and viewed these productions to find out the latest. That these individuals were, according to the authorities associated or covered this incidents, or are sponsored by a socialist motion. These were basically the same that attend all of the local protests and recruited the "professional protesters".

These consisted of mostly 20 and 30 somethings. Individuals that had the excess time to blow and try and make a political statement. Basically wasting everyones time in the process.

I personally did not agree with the way these people wasted their and others time. Sure they were exercising the first and fifth amendment rights, but they could have been more productive.

The one way I especially had in mind was to spend this time volunteering. There are a number of different ways in which to get involved from your church to a number of different non-profits. One in particular to get involved with instead of anti-war campaigns is one that is involved with supporting the soldiers whom are coming back after serving time.

This is something that is very important. This is something in which did not happen following the Vietnam War. It should be something that even provides the soldiers support while they are serving their term.

An article I have briefly read and seen on the news, covered a couple of women who were attempting to make it work out. But due to a lack of interest, finances and etc these ladies were hurting.

The Shanghai bounce

It has proven correct, that the 400+ point bounce yesterday was the result of two events. First of all was in response to Mr. Greenspan's influence on the markets. For he guesstimated that the economy is headed to another recession later in '07 and early in '08. The reason he said this was because our economy has been so robust so many years following the 9/11 event.
According to other prominent economists from some powerful firms, he might be incorrect. But because he has so much influence on the markets for so long, that when he coughs, people listens or sells. I guess this was the case yesterday.
The other reason for the Shanghai Bounce was because of the China market. It is so volatile, having risen by 130 percent in '06, the world's best performance. To try and slow growth, China has threatened to impose a 20% tax on the dividends. This basically leading to a 10% sell off.
Then once the US markets caught wind of these actions, our traders on the floors of the markets followed suit. Leading to the massive correction.

There is not that much the US economy can do about the correction on the China markets. For it has been growing so large and so fast, that something like yesterday was going to happen. The correction is only going to be short lived.

The other factor that influenced the Shanghai Bounce, was some influence of Mr. Greenspan. It might be the result of a hiccup and/or sneeze in which the traders on the different exchanges mistaken for massive sell off.
In response, the Bush Administration and Mr. Bernanke (Greenspan's replacement) assured the traders that the economy is responding appropriately. For his influence has caused a ripple effect around the world.
There is certainly an annoyance factor there," said Brian Bethune, economist at Global Insight. "Why doesn't Greenspan go to Hawaii and play golf?"

(When I composed this entry, I have used some facts and other statements in an article Greenspan's clout "When He Speaks, investors Still Listen" and the "China's frenzy Tax Rumor Helped Dim China Stock Exuberance".

No problem, just a slight correction

According to Yahoo! Finance MarketWatch, the US stocks today plunged to its worst one day drop or 416 points, since 2001. This was basically in response to the economic cycle coming to an end. This was at least what I have read yesterday in the Yahoo! Finance Section of what Alan Greenspan has predicted.

Sure enough, during the past number of years the US economy has been rather bullish. Now I guess it is time for a little correction. Something in which will prevent some big alterations. At least the analysts and other financial forecasters could see this one coming.

This time around, I kind of doubt that any of the stock brokers and/or others well vested into the markets who are not going to be opening up their office window and take any flying lessons. Something in which I read happened following the October 13th 1987 collapsing 508 points. An event in which it took the US markets a little over 2 years to recover.

But whatever happens, you know those liberal armchair economists out there will attempt to try placing blame on the Bush administration. When this is something in which it could not have been avoided. It is a natural event. Something in which Mr. Greenspan, Milton Freedman and/or their other beer drinking economist friends could have done anything about it.

In process giving those flaming liberals attempts to build creditability in their goal of trying to make Mr Bush and his administration look bad. Something in which it would have not backing, but it still would make them feel better.

My Tax Plan

MY TAXPLAN SONG

Let me tell you how it should be
Learn how to avoid paying so much
‘Cause it’s my tax plan
Yeah, it’s my tax plan
The old is obsolete
And mine is real sweet
‘Cause it’s my tax plan
Yahoo!!, I am a Republican

Should fifteen percent appears too much
Be thankful, the IRS does not take it all
‘Cause it’s my tax plan
Yeah, it’s my tax plan

If you sell some shares, they’ll tax your capital gains
If you earn an income, they’ll tax your gains
If you receive a gift, they will take a percentage
If you win some money, they will want their share
My tax plan!!!!!!!
‘Cause it’s my tax plan
Yeah, it’s my tax plan
Don’t ask them what they want it for
Especially if you don’t want to pay some more
‘Cause it’s my tax plan
Yeah, it’s my tax plan
Now by following my writings, you can learn to avoid those audits.
And do it right the first time
‘Cause it’s my tax plan
Yeah, it’s my tax plan
And you will learn how to decrease the amount you pay the feds.

(Fine writing) The contents of My Tax Plan song are based upon the assumption that all my numbers add up. These are ones in which are costing the taxpaying people, who are stuck with the bill, with an unnecessary expense.

If these were delt with in advanced, then it would free up our government to deal with what is more important to the taxpayers. These would then free up many of the police and other law enforcement agencies. Then empty the different jail houses and etc.

Sure to combat this there are all of those watchdogs and others out there. These are nothing to be bothered with. I know a lot of it depends upon location, location and location. But a lot of it also depends upon their basic business model. Up here in the NW Portland near 21st and 23rd, it was also effected, but not as much as I predicted. With those with a good business model closing their doors and moving down to the Pearl District. It is there with the ever-increasing population density, the condos spurting out of the ground, the increase number of condos a rising out of the ground and etc.In the process stealing the market share of individuals who shopped on the 23rd, are now in the Pearl. I guess you can just call it competition.Living up here in the NW Portland is in my opinion one of the best places in Portland to operate a small business. Here there are all of the amenities a small business owner needs in order to enjoy the successes of it's operation. These characteristics are a dense population, good public transportation and an increased number of living situations to be available for growth. Up here in the NW Portland has often been noted as having the most dense population this side of the Mississippi River and north of San Fransico. All of this is thanks to all of the apartment buildings and condo minimum buildings growing up out of the ground. These qualifications would probably apply more likely to the 21st and 23rd areas. It was effected, but not as much as I predicted. With those with a good business model closing their doors and moving down to the Pearl District. It is there with the ever-increasing population density, the condos spurting out of the ground, the increase number of condos a rising out of the ground and etc. This is in large part thanks to all of the Californian moving up here to the Portland Metro area. In the process creating a need for more dense population to save on the need for a majority of individuals who commute to work. Creating an environment in which with a need of larger businesses. In the process with the creation of places for individuals to live, there needs to be a good quality of public transportation. This is needed so the residences of these parts can be able to get to the necessary destinations.%2

Building my retirement

Tuesday, January 09, 2007

Building my retirement
I am now as busy as ever working on my retirement. For when I get to that age that I can no longer remain employed, I do not anticipate being able to rely on the Social Insecurity Funds to be there to assist my in paying my bills.

Sure this account and/or program was created by the Rockefeller Republicans. It was done by a committee in 1936 that was on the Rockefeller and/or Standard Oil payroll. But still it was enacted into law during FDR terms of office, so there for the public think it was the workings of a bunch of liberals.

From what I have heard and read, John D Rockefeller did this in response to having to lay people off after working for one of his leomade stands. Then they would suffer because they failed to save enough to provide themselves a safety net.

By enacting this works, the federal government takes out a very small percentage of their hard earned incomes and invested it. Very similar to the way he speculated on many of the different petroleum and other future markets. Then they can cash in on it when these individuals finally do retire.

But they would only receive the amount in which is based upon the percentage they made during their working days.
